Follow the directions below to create your own plaster letter.
Get some cardboard and draw your letter on it.
2. Use the knige to cut your letter out.
(Remember the safety instructions you were given!)
3. Trace the outline of your letter on toy your cardboard.
4. Cut it out.
5. Using a ruler, draw long rectangles the width you would like your letter. Make sure the corrigation is running across the width of your rectangles, not the length.
6. Cut them out.
7. Cut the long rectangles to match the length of each side of your letter.
8. Using masking tape, assemble your letter.
9. Gather materials.
Small cut peices of plaster
Scrap paper to go under your work space.
A small container of water.
Note: Keep your plaster away from the water until you are ready to use it.
10. Dip a rectangle of plaster in water and use your fingers to squeeze out the excess water. Apply the strip to any side of your letter and smoothing it out to activate all the plaster.
11. Continue applying plaster in overlapping strips all the way around the letter. Activate and smooth all the peices you apply.
