In this course we are going to look at some ideas for how to set up our classrooms as well as provide instruction during the new model of simultaneous teaching that the district will be doing during the hybrid model.
In this course we cover best practices, strategies, and resources to set teachers and their students up for success with remote learning. Throughout the course teachers will have opportunities to brainstorm, reflect, and share ideas with colleagues so that we can create the best online learning experience possible for our families.
Plenty of buzz exists about blended learning and its transformational potential. But what does blended learning really mean? In the course, we will explore the different models of blended learning and dive into key issues that impact students and teachers.
Are you using technology as effectively as you could in your classroom? This course will dig deeper into the SAMR Model, look at instructional shifts in planning with technology and use resources to transform your lessons.
Teachers will explore tech tools to support the following elements of formative assessment: Shared Learning Targets and Criteria for Success, Strategic Questioning and Feedback. Teachers will then work with three tech tools to create formative assessments to use with their students.
In this course, teachers will explore the ways to provide experiences where students learn and show their understanding while creating. We focus on 3 Google Tools: Google Drawing, Google My Maps, and Google Sites, that will help teachers make student thinking visible, give every student a voice, and allow them to share their work with an authentic audience.
