We purchased this kit from Kidder Canada - here is the link: https://kidder.ca/balloon-helicopter-kit-cat-99-7030-03.html
We followed the lesson plans from Educational Innovations Inc. - see the link for the free downloadable lesson plan: https://s3.amazonaws.com/cdn.teachersource.com/downloads/lesson_pdf/AIR-610.pdf
In this lesson, students measured flight duration time, distance travelled, and height, as well as creating data tables for trial and error experiments - as you can see, there is a lot of math to be found in this activity. Students also learned about the principles of flight, Newton's laws of motion, and how to manipulate variables to complete challenges. Lots of great science here too! Enjoy!
