Ask Away is an advice column where you, the reader, can ask us, the writers, any questions about Colts Chronicles, school life, what’s going on, and many other things. All you have to do is fill in a google form, ask your question, and submit it. We’ll try to get to it as soon as possible! The best part of Ask Away is that it’s completely anonymous. So Ask Away!

Is the Comedy Page ever coming back?

The Comedy Page, sadly, is probably not coming back. One of the writers/creators of the Comedy Page left journalism. Unless of course, another journalism student starts it back up again. Thanks for asking away!

I absolutely LOVED the articles on the article on the failed murder. Can you do more for crimes?

We are so glad that you liked the article. There is a lot of interest in the journalism class about possibly including a crime section. If there is someone who is willing to take it on, there could be a crime section in the future. In the meantime, there are plenty of students in journalism who, while being able to choose their own topics, can individually write crime stories. We hope this helps and that for asking away a question.

How do you put on an article?

The answer to this question is different depending on what you are asking. If you are asking how we put articles on the site, then we different layout techniques to insert our articles. If you are asking how you can put an article, then you can always send us a student submission, you can check out the Student Submissions page and read the rules and guidelines.

How many people are in journalism in total?

There are actually two different journalism classes. There are about 25 students in each class.  There are also around 10 mentors in each class as well. (Mentors are older journalism students whose job is to teach and show 6th graders the ways of journalism.) Hope this helps and thanks for asking away!

Can you make an article on Mr. Pogue?

There is not currently an article on Mr. Pogue so it is probable that there will be one in the future so make sure to check out each new issue when they come out! 

How did you guys start your page on the Chronicles?

We started our page on the Chronicles by using Google Sites. It's actually quite simple to start a website, it's only hard to share it with the whole school district. We hope this helps and thank you for writing to Ask Away

What classes would we have on a 2-hour delay?

On a 2-hour delay schedule, we would have the same classes as a normal day, depending on the days of the week. The only difference is that the classes would be shorter than usual.

How do you feel about the current situation in Ukraine?

Ask Away as a whole, believes that the situation in Ukraine is heartbreaking and is a devasting part of our world right now.  We wish Ukraine luck and good fortune in its fight against Russia.

How do I submit an article to Colts Chronicles?

You can submit an article through the Student Submissions section of Colts Chronicles. The rules, guidelines, and limitations are all in that section.
