Michele Malski
Michele is a second generation railroader and a native from Scranton, PA. After graduating from Cornell University, Michele started her career with BNSF in Minot, ND. From becoming a Trainmaster with BNSF, she ventured to Canadian Pacific as a Division Trainmaster to cover a 350+ miles. From CP, she continued her experience on the passenger side with Bombardier Transportation in Baltimore, MD, and then joined Short Line Safety Institute to manage and build training via grants from FRA and PHMSA. As Founder of SPRING, she builds employer partnerships for sustainability, communicates new goals for the year with the community, and actively recruits new members, both civilian and veterans to their network.
