Erica Sander

Erica has more than 25 years experience in communications, sales, management, and customer service/relations. She spent 14 years in various capacities in the mortgage industry. After seeking a career change, she started working at Trinity. After nearly 6 years expanding her communications skills and continually learning public affairs, policy, and government relations in the rail industry, she has never been happier, more challenged, and eager to learn. Erica handles public affairs and government relations to protect Trinity's business interests and employees. She is a federal, state, and local lobbyist, an employee political action committee manager, and board of directors secretary. She also leads external media communications and corporate association and charitable initiatives engagement.

Why do you mentor? I would not be where I am today without my amazing mentors and advocates. Therefore, I understand the importance, relationship, and knowledge transfer that occurs between both a mentor and mentee. I believe in sharing experiences, supporting, listening, guiding, and challenging mentees, facilitates leadership and career growth opportunities.
