Maggie Vuono

Maggie began her railway career 16 years ago. She oversees sales for the US in the shortline, transit and contractor market and held estimating and management positions at several railway supply and contracting companies. She is a member of the NRC, AREMA, ASLRRA, and LRW. Maggie serves on the NRC Board of Directors, as well as AREMA Committee 5: Track, where she is the Supplier Chairman. She has a BA in Marketing and a MS in Business & Leadership.

Why do you mentor? I am an experienced leader with a consistent, results-driven record of operational and project management. I am also known for excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, self-motivation and dedication to customers. I feel I could share my experiences with others to help them in their career. I am often told I am a good listener and people feel comfortable confiding in me. I value the LRW in what it has done for me and many other women in rail and I'd mostly want to just give back in any way that I could.
