Transfer Agreements
Associated Degree for Transfer
The AD-T: A degree with a guarantee:
The California Community Colleges (CCC) Associate in Art for Transfer (AA-T) and the Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T) degrees are two-year associate degrees that are fully transferable to the CSU system and are no more than 60 semester units (or 90 quarter units).
With these Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADT) — sometimes called a Degree with a Guarantee
— students who meet the CSU’s minimum eligibility requirements are guaranteed priority admission to a CSU campus, though not necessarily to a particular campus or major.
An Associates degree for transfer is NOT required to transfer. You only need to meet certain GE and major requirements to transfner, however there MAY be advantages depending on your major
Advantages of an AD-T:
Special GPA advantage (or 'boost')
You will not be required to complete more than 60 units after you transfer
Earn an Associate's degree from Sierra
Students may receive other priority admissions advantages

Transfer Agreement Guarantee
Early Admission--Higher Requirements
Six UCs have Transfer Agreement Guarantees (TAG) with community colleges. By participating in TAG, you may receive early review of your academic records, early admission notification and specific guidance about major preparation and general education coursework . Please carefully review the linkedTAG information as the TAG requirements differ by campus and by major.
A couple of things to consider:
TAGs require specific deadlines as well as unit/course/GPA requirements
TAG requirements (above) differ by campus and by major
You can only apply for a TAG at one campus
If you do not qualify for TAG, you can still apply to the UC through general admissions
Talk to your counselor if you are considering a TAG, as there are some specific steps you'll want to take starting in your first semester at Sierra.
