Summer is a great time to EXPLORE!
Many FREE/low-cost opportunities for learning and enrichment.
Review all information, deadlines and fees carefully.
WSCA doesn't endorse any course of learning, but we want to share some options and opportunities with you.
Students: Subscribe to our College and Career Google Classroom for new and upcoming opportunities!
CAUTION: There are some companies that try to sell/recruit participants by making their expensive program look exclusive or imply that it will improve a student's chances of getting into highly selective colleges. There is no evidence that these programs increase such chances over other opportunities or experiences.
These programs may even imply that our counseling staff is recommending a student (they may even include the names of Mrs. B, Mrs. Harris or Mrs. Womeldorf!)
Please be careful and do not hesitate to reach out to Mrs. B for insight into the value of these programs.
