FAI 5-a-side soccer

Huge credit to our amazing boys team for their effort and performance in the FAI 5 a side Mayo finals in Castlebar on the 16th April. The boys made it into a playoff final, the winner going through to represent the school in the Connacht stage. Unfortunately, they lost 2-1 in the playoff to a strong Ballinrobe side, having managed to beat the Ballinrobe team earlier in the tournament

Well done to our two teams of boys who represented the school so well on Friday 27th February in the FAI Primary Schools 5 a side soccer tournament. The boys travelled to Milebush in Castlebar and competed in the Mayo Boys Large School section. The standard of football was extremely high, with wonderful skill and commitment on show. One of our teams now progresses to the Mayo finals in April and we wish them the very best of luck in the next stage. Well done to all.
