Waiver of Prerequisite Requirement COURSE OFFERINGS: (Grades 9-12)

The prerequisite requirement is in place to ensure that a student is capable of the academic rigor of a class or an academic level. However, this process is not foolproof, and parents have the right to request a waiver of the prerequisite requirement if they believe their child can handle the course load. In order to be eligible for a waiver, the student must meet expectations on multiple criteria, including, but not limited to the following:

A. Standardized Test Scores B. Benchmark Assessments C. Previous Academic Performance

**The official request for Prerequisite waiver must be submitted in writing to the building principal.
