Internship 2023-24 (Faculty in charge Ms Sonia Bombacha)
Internship for 2023-24 was organised as follows
Semester Two ( 22 to 26 April and 1 to 12 July 2024)
Semester Three (Sept 2023 to Jan 2024)
Semester Four (Feb to March 2024
Students participated in various activities such as conducting lessons, organising co -curricular activities,shadowing teachers, conducting mentoring for students, observing school activities, conducting assessment. Internees conducted activities as a team and had a first hand experience of different roles that a teacher executes.

Internship was organised as per the following schedule Semester Three (22 Nov 2022 to Feb 2023 ) , Semester Four (6 to 31 March 2023) and Semester Two (4 to 24 July 2023). About 7-9 students were allotted to each school. Activities included conducting lessons as stipulated by the curriculum, organising co -curricular activities,shadowing teachers, conducting mentoring for students, observing school activities, conducting assessment. Internees conducted activities in collaborative way and thus learned planning and execution of various school related activities. We are grateful to all our internship schools for their strong support and whole hearted co-operation.

Internship for Semester Three in 2021-22 was held in online mode till Jan 2022 due to the lockdown. Here students used variety of techniques and online apps like Wordwall, Virtual Labs, H5P , kahoot , Edpuzzle etc to make the lessons interactive and effective,
After lockdown was lifted, Semester Four and Semester Two internships were held in face to face mode. Here internees had experience of face to face teaching, shadowing school teachers and engaging in tasks like invigilation, organising co curricular activities etc. Our internship schools extended their support and helped us have robust internship experiences in both online and in-person modes.
Internship 2020-21 ( Faculty in Charge Sem Three and Sem Four Dr Helen Jadhav Sem Two Ms Angelina Nunes)
Internship for 2020-21 had to be held in online mode due to the lockdown. Students were given adequate inputs to handle online classes. As per guidelines from Board of Studies in Education, University of Mumbai, internship lessons were organised either as synchronous online lessons( via Zoom and Google Meet) or asynchronously where internees prepared video lessons as per the requirements of the internship schools. Tests were administered via Google Forms. A number of resources were prepared and distributed to schools.
Student made use of Kahoot, Wordwall,H5P and other platforms to engage learners. VENTEL activities were also conducted and Nai talim Approach was used wherever possible. With adequate support from the internship support and meticulous guidance from the faculty, the challenges posed by the situations were handled with equanimity and poise.
Internship 2019-20 ( Faculty in charge Dr Helen Jadhav)
Internship was conducted in the following schools- Holy Family High School and Jr College, Thomas Baptista Jr College, St Aloysius Convent High school, St Augustine’s High school, Nazareth Convent High School, Holy Cross School, S.S Dhuri High School, Carmelite Convent High School, Fr Stephen’s High school ,Canossa Convent High School .
Activities included Practice Teaching Lessons, conducting test, organising co curricular activities, shadowing teachers, peer lesson observation and participation in all school activities. Lesson incorporated Nai talim approach.Special sessions were organised to orient students about different careers.
Internship 2018-19 (Faculty in Charge Dr Helen Jadhav)
Internship was conducted in Holy Family High School and Jr College Thomas Baptista Jr College St Aloysius Convent High school St Augustine’s High school Nazareth Convent High School Holy Cross School S.S Dhuri High School Carmelite Convent High School Notre Dame High School .
Activities included Practice Teaching Lessons, conducting test, organising co curricular activities, shadowing teachers, peer lesson observation and participation in all school activities. Some lessons were done using Nai talim approach.
Sessions in career counselling were also conducted by students and charts were displayed on different careers. Students interacted with office staff to learn about different documents to be maintained
The internship helped to develop confidence and explore innovative ways to engage students.
