4 November 2025 — Representatives from the Department of Geophysics, Department of Geoscience, Faculty of Science, Management and Computing, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), visited the Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University (PSU) to strengthen academic collaboration.

The meeting focused on joint academic initiatives between PSU and UTP, including a one-week joint student field camp in the Songkhla region centered on geological mapping and geophysical field methods. Discussions also explored short postgraduate research attachments at PSU, with UTP expressing its willingness to host PSU students for similar short-term research experiences at the Centre for Subsurface Imaging (CSI), UTP.
