332-424 / Seismology
Seismology offers an insight into the world of earthquakes, how and where they occur, how we can record them, and how we can analyze the data we acquired in order to get all important parameters. The course offers hand-on-experiences using examples, videos, and internet resources. Recent examples will be discussed as well as earthquakes from the Southeast Asian region.
3 credits can be obtained and transferred
Classes will be held live, recorded classes will be available
MS Team is used
There will be a final exam, assignments and discussion in online class
Timetable is flexible and can be adjusted to fit the needs of students
Students with preferable basic knowledge in physics are able to join the course.
