26 - 30 October 2025 - The Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University (PSU) welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology, University of Malaya (UM) for the PSU-UM Reciprocal Mobility Program. Over five days, 30 UM students participated in academic workshops, explored PSU’s Hat Yai campus, and visited Songkhla Old Town.
The program commenced with opening remarks by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pimonsri Mittraparp-arthorn, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and International Relations. This year, Thai students joined both workshop sessions, contributing to a more vibrant international learning atmosphere.
Participants first explored the PSU Hat Yai campus to gather inspiration for the full-day workshop on 3D modeling conducted by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chinnapong Angsuchotmetee. The following day, Dr. Somphop Limsoontharakul led a workshop on the Internet of Things, while staff members discussed opportunities for future academic exchange.
This program also emphasizes cultural immersion. After visiting the Songkhla National Museum, UM delegates and Thai students experienced Songkhla Oldtown by tram and on foot. A visit to Samila Beach added a memorable highlight before participants returned to the PSU campus.
The inbound phase of the PSU-UM Reciprocal Mobility Program concluded with this visit, and the outbound phase will be held from November 9 to 13, 2025.
