PSU Science Hosts UiTM Delegation to Enhance Cooperation

On 16th January 2025, the Faculty of Science at Prince of Songkla University (PSU) welcomed a delegation from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, for the UiTM Talent Quest initiative. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pimonsri Mittraparp-arthorn, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and International Relations from the Faculty of Science led the reception of the delegation, which included staff from UiTM’s Administrative, Financial, Engineering, IT, Social, and Science departments.

The visit focused on exchanging insights, with UiTM seeking to learn about the Faculty of Science’s financial platforms and lab management practices. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suda Chakthong, Assistant Dean for Educational, Research, and Academic Service Resources, shared valuable perspectives on lab facilities, chemical management, safety standards, and sustainability. They also explored the Faculty’s infrastructure, including data centers and lab operations, to enhance UiTM’s planning and development capabilities.

This meeting facilitated the exchange of ideas, strengthening ties between UiTM and the Faculty of Science, and paving the way for future academic and administrative collaborations.
