On February 7–8, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pimonsri Mittraparp-arthorn, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and International Relations, was invited as a keynote speaker at the 14th IMT-GT Uninet Bioscience 2025 at Universiti Sains Malaysia. She delivered a lecture on “Climate Change and Marine Pathogens: Challenges for Aquatic Food Safety.”
The conference, themed "Innovating a Sustainable Future: Advancing Biodiversity, Science, and Education," saw participation from students and faculty members of PSU Faculty of Science, who also presented their research. Congratulations to Ms. Savin Kin, a Ph.D. student in Biology, for winning Best Oral Presentation.
Moreover, the Associate Dean visited CEMACS, located in Penang National Park, at the invitation of Prof. Dato' Dr. Aileen Tan Shau Hwai. CEMACS, specializing in marine biodiversity and coastal ecosystem research, welcomed PSU students for future internships.
This participation strengthened PSU’s global engagement, creating new academic collaborations and research opportunities.
