Definition:

Families are active participants in the educational system, and feel welcomed, valued, and connected to each other, to staff, and to what students are learning and doing. Positive relationships exist. The school community respects and includes every family.

• What could we change or add to our current practices to actively engage families and students who attend?
• How does our current event relate to student achievement?
• What languages do the students and families at my school speak? Where are they from?
• How do we help families connect at my school?
