BHR's crisis hotline and mobile outreach services are provided free of charge to the public by paid professional staff who have master's degrees in their respective behavioral science disciplines.

St. John’s Mercy Behavioral Health provides evaluation and treatment for individuals who suffer with psychiatric illness and chemical dependency. They offer specialized dual-diagnosis treatment that addresses the problems and issues of both these primary illnesses. They also offer multi-disciplinary treatment for alcoholism and other drug dependencies, and compulsive disorders such as gambling addiction. Treatment includes individual and group counseling, relapse-prevention techniques, and the ongoing support of the 12-step programs of Alcoholics Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous and other addiction-recovery support groups.
