Our crisis prevention, suicide intervention and postvention support services include community awareness, outreach and education; a youth-staffed telephone hotline; Peer Helper Skills Training; and support for survivors of a completed suicide. Our philosophy is simple; KUTO is teens helping teens help themselves. The KUTO Crisis Helpline is a confidential telephone hotline available to any youth who may be in need of assistance, referral information or crisis services. The KUTO Helpline is one of a handful of hotlines staffed exclusively by youth volunteers.

The Youth Connection Helpline is a dedicated 24/7 hotline for youth, parents, guardians, or other concerned individuals to access crisis intervention, behavioral health and substance use assessment, and service linkage. The Helpline also has a follow-up program, where eligible callers will receive a follow-up call within 48 hours by a coordinator who ensures child safety, assists with referrals, and continues to follow up until the crisis situation has been resolved or linkage to services has occurred.
