At Ameren Missouri, customers are at the center of everything we do. That's especially true now, as we all work together to protect ourselves and our loved ones from the spread of COVID-19, the coronavirus. As communities across Missouri increase efforts to safeguard everyone's health, we realize that some of those efforts may create financial hardships for you or your family.
We've partnered with the United Way of Greater St. Louis to create the Coronavirus Income Relief Program that will offer $500,000 in energy assistance funds to customers experiencing financial hardships caused by the coronavirus response. If your hours have already been reduced, you have been laid off, or you face lost wages in the coming weeks, we encourage you to read about the Coronavirus Income Relief Program below and submit an application to the United Way at 211helps.org/AmerenRelief.
Because ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers and communities is at the heart of what we do, we've suspended disconnects and late fees until May 1 for residential and business customers.
