Pattonville is partnering with the CDC, St. Louis University and Washington University to offer free COVID-19 testing for the Pattonville community. Tests are saliva-based and do not require nasal swabbing. Testing will be conducted from the patient's car and is available Sundays through Fridays. Results are typically available in 24 to 48 hours. To request a test, call (314) 454-4269.
The St. Louis County Department of Public Health is continuing to experience high call volume following the announcement last week of the expansion of testing for COVID-19. Therefore, DPH has developed a sign up tool for St. Louis County residents to schedule their own appointments for testing. This is only for St. Louis County residents only; it's important to remember that even if you don't think you're at risk, you should still consider getting tested to protect others. The goal is to detect cases among people who are likely to spread the infection. These individuals include those who work directly with the public, such as medical and residential facility workers, grocery store employees, food service employees and other front-line workers. Early detection in those without symptoms will allow us to take steps to reduce further the likelihood of transmission. Testing is available by appointment only, so, please, use this website to sign up for testing.
Mercy is opening this drive-through location at the Mercy Virtual Care Center, 15740 S. Outer Forty Road in Chesterfield, Missouri, to provide a designated place for COVID-19 testing for the St. Louis community.
“This drive-through testing site will prevent unnecessary exposure to our patients and caregivers in our hospitals and clinics,” said Donn Sorensen, Mercy’s executive vice president of operations who is leading COVID-19 response across Mercy. “By directing at-risk people to this site, Mercy will limit the traffic to our hospitals and clinics. The safety of our patients, visitors and co-workers is of the utmost importance.”
Patients will first call Mercy’s clinical support line at 314-251-0500 to be screened, and if appropriate, proceed to the test collection site. Mercy will collect a sample and send it to the designated lab, the state health department or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Results may take several days. There will be a cost associated with the testing; it’s unknown if commercial insurance or government funding will cover any of the cost.

Patient Visit Process: What you need to know
If you have symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, runny nose, chills, sore throat or body aches), please schedule a Video Visit to find out if you should be tested based on testing criteria from the CDC, WHO and federal and state governments. COVID-19 diagnostic and antibody testing is available at all centers. Please note: Due to limited testing supplies, if you do not have symptoms of COVID-19, you may not receive a COVID-19 diagnostic test.
If you do not have COVID-19 symptoms, please save your spot online. This will save you time and help us safely prepare for you and other patients.
If you cannot check-in online, please sign-in at our kiosk by the front door, then return to your car or wait outside if you’d like. If you’ve opted for SMS from us, our queuing system will text you when a provider is ready to see you inside! Otherwise, our staff will call you when it’s your turn to be seen inside
We've created a screening questionnaire based on CDC guidelines to help you determine the most appropriate level of care for you. Thank you for your patience as we are handling an extremely high volume of virtual evaluations at this time.

COVID-19 virus testing is available to all patients with results typically available in 2-4 days.
Because drive-thrus are unable to fully evaluate and treat concerning symptoms, every visit at TAUC includes a complete evaluation.
Total Access is offering antibody testing to help detect if you have been previously infected with COVID-19, causing you to develop antibodies to the virus. Your body produces antibodies in response to an infectious agent such as a virus to provide protection against the infection in the future. It is too early in our understanding of COVID-19 (first identified in November 2019) for us to determine the long-term immunologic implications of antibodies to this virus.
To help during this crisis, Total Access Urgent Care is not collecting copays for COVID-19 visits, including: virus testing, antibody testing, and relief of associated symptoms. We are working closely with our health insurance partners who are covering most COVID-19 related medical expenses.
Patients must be 18 years of age or older.
How it works:
1Answer a few questions to see if you qualify for COVID-19 testing.
2Select a test site and available time. Fill out the registration form.
