Class Arrival

• Students will arrive at class on time

• Warmly greet your teacher and begin DO NOW.

Hallways, Breaks & Bathrooms

• Students always have a pass when leaving the classroom or are accompanied by an adult

• Only one pass is given out at a time in each class

• Students should remain in class during the first and last 5 minutes of every class.

Attendance

• Students should attend school daily and on time. Strive for 100% Attendance

• Students attend every class once they are in the building

• Students should attend office hours if they miss class to check in with their teacher.

Academic Integrity

• Each student should complete his/her own work without copying.

• Each student must cite sources if used

Electronic Devices

• Learning time is cell phone-free school-wide (this includes all other electronic devices not administered by the school or teacher).

• If you are seen using your phone during instruction, you will be asked to put it away. Failure to adhere to redirection from the teacher or dean your phone may be taken for the remainder of the period or day.

• May be used in the Commons during breakfast or lunch (music can only be listened to through headphones) or in class as a part of the lesson at the permission of the teacher

Dress Code

• There is no uniform required, but a dress code still exists.

• Students follow the dress code as outlined in the student and family handbook

Classroom Culture Champion

• Students are expected to abide by all classroom expectations, as well as building expectations.

• Classroom Removal/Check-In

• Students are behaving in a way that protects the learning environment for themselves and their peers.

• If students cannot be in class, they will conference with a dean and may possibly require contact home and be assigned Overtime

Masks

• While masks are optional, they are still recommended for indoor spaces to slow the spread of COVID.

• If a student does not have a mask, they can find spares at the front desk.
