Mandarin II

Grade Level: 9 -12

Credits: 2 LOTE Electives

Full-year, 5-day per week course

Focused on honing skills and expanding vocabulary from the first-year course, this class is designed to help students solidify their basic understanding of Mandarin. Furthermore, the class will begin to push students to move past language used during daily exchanges and develop their ability to express increasingly abstract thoughts. Prerequisite: Student needs to maintain a year long average 65% in Mandarin 1 or scored 55-64% on the BPCS Middle School Placement Test
