Creative writers, step right up! This course is for learning and developing writing skills to create theatrical pieces with the intention to perform. Students will study various playmaking formats and read cannon and contemporary plays, then apply techniques and skills to writing several short plays. Develop your creative voice and hone your empathetic skills through dialogue writing for the stage!
This is a prerequisite for IB Theatre.

Writing for the Stage and Screen II is designed as a studio class where students apply skills and techniques learned in Writing I to produce full length plays. Students will study cannon and contemporary plays, as well as general human behavior, in order to create the most authentic and truthful works. Let your imagination and creativity shine in this supportive environment for cultivating art.
This is a prerequisite for IB Theatre.
