Prerequisite: Drawing or Art 1 or instructor approval.
In this course students will learn the basics of photographic composition and technique, as well as the practical application of photography in a number of different professional settings, and essential skills in digital literacy. We will learn how digital photography creates the foundations for work such as graphic design, communications, and other creative careers. We will also learn about the history of photography, and how its invention altered the course of contemporary society. This course tis a prerequisite for IB Visual Art.
Prerequisite: Drawing or Art 101
