This course is perfect for students who are curious about filmmaking, film theory and film history. Making a film is an exciting and collaborative process. You and your teammates will explore the elements of creating a short film from pre-production to post-production, including scheduling, shooting, editing, and distribution. Groups will use digital cameras to create content to be edited into original digital shorts. Each team member will assume the critical roles required on a production team such as the director, producer, editors, etc. Students will also explore the business of the filmmaker and how to reach the desired audience. This is a prerequisite for IB Theatre.
