Styrofoam Printmaking

STEPS:

1. Click through the slideshow below to learn some printmaking basics and design tips.

2. Draw your design on paper.

3. Create your styrofoam printing block by putting your design over it and tracing it with a pen or pencil, applying heavy pressure. Your goal is to press your design into the styrofoam by making grooves with your pen or pencil.

4. Create 3 good prints of your design, using printing ink, a transparent surface (for spreading the ink onto), and brayer, and 4x6" paper, to match the size of your design.
