OBJECTIVE:
Create a work of art based on an object or grouping of objects that demonstrates balance and repetition.
STEPS:
- Look at the Project Menu in the resources below.
- After reading about each project briefly in the Project Menu, decide which project you want to make.
- Gather any references that you need-- photos that you take, photos that you find, or objects that you bring in or have available in the classroom. Any photos should be printed out, and any objects should be brought back to use each class.
- Look at the Slideshow for your chosen project in the resources below.
- Develop your project idea by sketching and practicing with your chosen media. This is an important step, and should take a good portion of a class to do. Information about developing your idea are in your project's Slideshow.
- Get your final paper and any other materials that you need. Create your project.
- Throughout your project, you should ask for in-progress feedback from a couple of classmates.
- When you believe your project is done, check the objective and Rubric to make sure you've met your artistic goals.
- Keep your completed project in your portfolio to be graded.
