Scratchboard

1. Read through the slideshow.

2. Complete the Scratchboard Skill Builder activity. You only get one small piece of scratchboard to practice on.

3. Find a photo reference and e-mail to me to be printed out. danielle.goins@rhodesenvstu.org

4. Use white transfer paper to copy your image lightly onto your full sized scratchboard.

5. Use scratch tools to etch into your copied image. Try to match the values that you see in your photo by using the various techniques you practiced during the Skill Builder activity.

6. Before you decide that you are done, check that you don't have any white lines from the transfer paper left-- all of them should be hidden by the values you have etched.
