At Preshil, learning is a journey of curiosity, creativity, and choice. Our curriculum offers eight rich areas of study, each designed to nurture individual interests and inspire deep engagement. Click on any area to discover the subjects available, and see how we support students to shape their own learning, follow their passions, and develop the skills to thrive in a changing world.
In each learning area you can explore the subjects that are offered for the following programs:

University of Melbourne - VCE Extension Studies
All VCE studies (Units 1 and 2 plus any Units 3 and 4 subjects you have already completed) that you have completed by the end of Year 11 will be used to calculate the average across non-prerequisite/non-corequisite subjects. The University takes into consideration each school’s own grading scale when calculating the B+ average. An internal calculator is then used to derive the non-prerequisite and non-corequisite average. All schools have different approaches to assessment, but we generally follow the below grading scale.
Deakin University - Accelerate Program
Get a head start with Deakin Accelerate by completing two first-year university units during Year 12. Boost your ATAR and your future career prospects at a university that sets the standard for employability. Fast-track your degree by earning credit for your Accelerate program units, which you can put towards a Deakin course. Deakin also cover your tuition fees, making Deakin Accelerate free.
