Pathway Planning Overview

Subject selection isn’t just about maximising your results or earning a certificate. You will spend the next few years learning in depth skills and knowledge in just a few areas, and hopefully you’ll then be able to use your skills and knowledge in whatever you do next. It’s not always a linear path between the skills you’ll pick up at school and the ones you need for what comes next. If you see subject selection as an opportunity to build skills and knowledge, learn more about the things that interest you, and open up opportunities, you’ll be in a good position to enjoy your senior years of school while you prepare for what comes next.
