Background
On Saturday May, 7, 2022 the Spring 2022 Community Service Group helped clean up animals' corrals at Riley Rescue Farm in Brooklyn, CT. The group received a tour of their facilities which has around 200 animals on it's property. They rescue animals and take care of them throughout their lives. Maria Riley and her family incorporated the farm in 2017 and Maria's daughter is an Pomfret Alumni. The farm is run by the Riley Family and a dedicated volunteer staff. The farm is supported by donations and individual doners.
Impact
Maria Riley and the staff at Riley Farm appreciate our work with them and the beginning of a relationship that will move forward with Pomfret's Community Development.
