Your Dean Vaughn online course contains quizzes - a pretest, module quizzes and a final exam. Here's how you can access quizzes, modify their properties and view past quiz attempts:
Learn basic things about quizzes, including how to preview them and set up some of the most important features.
Go to Course Admin - Quizzes, find the quiz you want to preview and click the down arrow next to the title to open a drop-down menu. Click on 'Preview'. This is a way for you to preview a quiz without actually taking it.
Go to Course Admin - Quizzes, find the quiz you want to preview and click the down arrow next to the title to open a drop-down menu. Click on 'Edit'. Otherwise you can just find the quiz you would like to edit and click on it.
You can edit properties across 3 different tabs:
Here you can change the name of the quiz, select the number of questions displayed per page, shuffle questions, mark questions as bonus or mandatory, include descriptions, edit headers and footers, edit optional settings like hints, emails etc. and enable notification emails (sent when students submit a quiz attempt).
Here you can hide the test, set a due date, set up passwords and IP restrictions and edit timing (use a recommended or an enforced time limit).
Here you can decide how completed attempts are published, edit activity completion tracking, set up the minimum passing grade, limit the number of attempts allowed, set up the overall grade calculation etc.
Here's how you can review your students' past quiz attempts:
Go to Course Administration - Quizzes
Select a quiz from the list, click the down arrow icon to open the drop-down menu.
From there, select Grade.
This will take you to a new page where you will be able to view all quiz results, per student and per attempt.
You can switch to the next student by clicking the right arrow in the upper right corner of the page. Otherwise, you can click on "Back" to go back to the Quiz page from step 4.
