Meet Ms. Ornelas!

Welcome to our First Grade adventure!

My name is Clarissa Ornelas and I am thrilled to be your teacher this year. I have lived in Petal for the past fourteen years. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Elementary Education. I am bilingual in English and Spanish as I was born in South Texas and where I am from speaking both languages is the norm! I live in Petal with my mom, dad, and little brother, but I spend as many breaks as I can visiting my big sister and my two nephews back home in Texas. Teaching is my entire heart and I cannot wait to learn with you.
