My name is Mrs. Thigpen and I am SO excited to be a part of this wonderful Petal School District family! More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your new teacher! This will be my 9th year at Petal Primary School, and I am ready for a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures!

I was born and raised in Vicksburg, MS. After graduating high school, I moved to Starkville to attend Mississippi State University. GO BULLDOGS! It was there that I met my wonderful husband, Wesley. We have two amazing kiddos, Maddox and Emrie. We also have a dog, Brinkley, who is quite the handful. When I am not teaching or planning awesome things for us to do at school… I enjoy shopping, going to the beach, and spending quality time with friends and family.
