Meet Mrs. Keeton 

Hi! My name is Emily Keeton, and I am thrilled to be your 1st grade teacher this year! This is going to to be a fun year, and I can't wait to see all of the things you learn this year. I can't wait to get to know you, but first I will tell you a little bit about myself. 

I have been teaching for 16 years. 11 of those years have been in 1st grade. I absolutely LOVE teaching 1st grade! I graduated from Delta State University in 2006 with a degree in Elementary Education. 

I am married to Keith is a pastor at Parkway Heights United Methodist Church. We currently moved to Petal, and we are so excited to be here! We have 3 children who all attend Petal Schools. Ava is in 10th grade, Kate Rivers is in 7th grade, and Asher is in 3rd grade. We also have 2 cocker spaniels named Lady and Lucy. 

In our free time we enjoy traveling, going to football games, and eating out.
