Welcome! I am Julia Moreno and am so excited to begin this school year together! I can’t wait to get to know all of my wonderful students and parents as well. Until then, let me tell you a little about myself!

My family is very important part of my life, and couldn't do it without them. I have two older sisters and two brother-in-laws, that I love dearly. I grew up in Petal Schools and graduated from Petal High School. This school district and community is very dear to my heart!  I love to shop at Target, but my favorite is online shopping at Amazon. I'm obsessed with coffee and LOVE to eat at McAlister's. My favorite snacks are M&M's and anything sweet!

After graduating high school, I attended Jones College and received my Associate Degree. I then attended the University of Southern Mississippi. There, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in social studies and reading. 

First grade is a big year as your child grows as a reader, mathematician, and overall a more independent learner. It is the joy of my heart to see the progress each child makes throughout the school year. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
