Hey! My name is Emily Cresap and I am so excited to be a part of this year's First Grade team, but most importantly, I am THRILLED to be your new teacher!! This year is going to be filled with so many adventures and learning experiences for both you and me. I cannot wait to get the year started and learn ALL about you, but first I will tell you a little bit about myself.

I am originally from Madison, MS and I moved to Hattiesburg  to attend the University of Southern Mississippi and pursue my degree in Elementary Education. I graduated from Southern Miss with a degree in Elementary Education as well as endorsements in Reading and English. I am SO PUMPED to have the opportunity to continue my career in the Petal School District! Go Panthers!! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family and attending Mississippi State ball games!! I am married to my high school sweetheart, Reed and we have a beautiful baby girl named Mary Frances! She was born on December 14, 2023.  We enjoy going out on the boat and fishing at the lake. I look forward to meeting and getting to know every one of you!! Here's to a GREAT year!!!!
