Calling all creative high schoolers interested in art! Are you looking to get involved in the local art scene, meet other artistic teens, and help plan events? Check out the Demuth Teen Art Council! 

What is the Demuth Teen Art Council?

This is your chance to be part of a group that creates programs and opportunities specifically for high school students. The Demuth Teen Art Council is also a chapter of the National Art Honor Society. Being a council member gives you the option to join the chapter for even more benefits.

Interested? Here's the details from 2024!

• First Meeting & Art Career Panel:  October 1st from 5:30 - 7 pm will be the kickoff meeting! This event is open to ALL students, whether you're interested in joining the council or not. It's a great chance to meet other creative teens and learn about different art careers!

• Regular Meetings: In 2024 this program ran from October - June during the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 4-5 pm. Meetings are held at the Demuth Program Center, 116 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. This program is entirely free. Applications were due September 27, 2024, so be sure to check the Home Page "Whats Happening" for more information next year

Eastern Mennonite University's (EMU) holds Annual Aviation Program Open House. 

For 2024 it is Thursday, November 7th from 4:30-6:30 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore EMU’s Aviation Program and discover how they can help students achieve their dream of becoming a professional pilot. Whether you are just beginning to explore a career as a professional pilot or feel ready to take the next step, you are encouraged to join them for an interactive experience. This is your chance to see their program in action and get a feel for what they offer!

EMU has a dedicated team of faculty, staff, and current students in their Bachelor's degree in Leadership and Organizational Management with a concentration in Aviation (LOMV). 

Where: EMU at Lancaster Campus: 100 W. Millport Rd, Lititz, PA 17543 (within the Listrak Building - Mezzanine Level) - enter through the side entrance - follow the signs.
