Ecoforce is all about addressing climate change and enhancing our local area's environmental well-being. We're dedicated to making a positive impact on our surroundings while nurturing the next generation of eco-conscious leaders
EcoForce has a legacy, but now it's time to reinvent and rejuvenate this force for environmental good. We're excited to breathe new life into this club, and we want you to join us on this journey.
We're rolling up our sleeves and getting involved in the local community. Our primary focus is the historic Teakle Ruins Site, which Pedare supports in the heart of Cobbler Creek. A unique, yet neglected treasure that deserves our attention.
Our hands-on approach involves removing weeds, planting native species, and preserving this important piece of our heritage. Together, we can revitalise this site for generations to come.
At EcoForce, we believe in the power of student agency. You will have the opportunity to take the lead, shape our projects, and drive positive change. We welcome new initiatives and opportunities raised by students, to lead the way and shape the direction of our club focus.
EcoForce seamlessly aligns with our College Sustainability Subject enhancing your learning experience. We'll work hand in hand with the essence of sustainability, which involves planting diverse greens, nurturing soil health with worms, and maintaining garden beds. Our very own greenhouse offers exciting possibilities for sustainable experimentation.
We're thrilled to work closely with Shanelle Palmer, the President of the Friends of Cobbler Creek ASsociation and a part of our College. Her expertise and passion will guide us in our mission. Recently our collaboration has helped establish a cottage garden with indigenous plant species where an interpretive sign now lies and a plaque has been established, with support from local members Blair Boyers and Rhiannon Pierce.
EcoForce's scope extends beyond Cobbler Creek. We're dedicated to addressing climate change, exploring Aboriginal heritage sites, and preserving heritage plants. Our approach is hands-on, and we're committed to making a lasting impact.
We're not just about environmental action in the community; we're also focused on our campus. EcoForce will spearhead the establishment and maintenance of a comprehensive recycling program within the College
