Lions' Cub Club

Cub Club

Together, the Lions Club of the City of Adelaide INC. and Golden Grove have partnered with Pedare Christian College to form a ‘Lions Cubs Club’, for students aged 7 to 12 years old (Year 3 to Year 6)

The aim of the program is to educate the students about community service, as well as give them a voice and the opportunity to help others.  The students will learn about teamwork, project planning, leadership and community service locally, nationally and globally.

In addition to the benefits and experience of belonging to a club, volunteering trains our students to see the world through someone else’s eyes.  It teaches children empathy, compassion and responsibility.  They become more aware of their surroundings, as well as learn to be grateful for what they have and not to take things for granted.

Any students who are required to go to OSHC after completion of the sessions will be escorted by the supervising staff member.
