Mail is a function that allows you email other people to communicate and collaborate with them.
When you first open your mail app, you will see many different choices on how to use your emails.
Your "Inbox" is where you will receive all of your emails, and this is where you would daily to check them.
You can highlight certain people that send you emails by starring them which will make them appear first as "VIP".
If you want to have easy access to look back at an important email you can flag that email and it will show up under "Flagged" for easy retrieval.
Your "Drafts" show you what emails you've started but didn't yet send out.
"Sent" shows you which emails have been sent out from your email.
"Junk" will show you advertisement and other emails from compagnies that you may not be interested in and are less important.
"Trash" is where you will find your deleted emails. Although they may show up if you recently deleted them, they will be permanently deleted after 30 days.
"Archive" and "Archivage" are settings where you can organize your emails and put them in folders.
"Conversation History" is a setting where you can observe the thread of messages between you and specific people.
How to use your Inbox?
If you click on your "Inbox" you will be able to see the most recent emails that you received. If you press on "Edit" located at in the upper right-hand corner of your screen, you will be able to select specific emails and either move them to your "Archive", "Archivage", or "Trash".
To start a new email to write, click on the small square icon on the bottom right side of your screen. Then you will be able to enter the email address of the person you want to send it to, the subject of your email, and the content of your email. When you are done writing your email, press on the upright arrow located in the upper right-hand corner of your screen to send out the email.
