What is it for?
The App store is an Apple application which is used to download more applications of your choice. It is a digital platform where people can buy and download digital software and applications.
How do I use it?
When you first click on the app it will bring you to the "Today" page. This is a page showing you what apps are trending at the moment, the App store's favorite picks and essentials that many other people are interested in. These are to give the consumer some browsing material and suggestions on what they may like to download or purchase.
This is just the today page, but if you look at the bottom of your screen, you will see other options:
The "Games" option will take you to a page where you can see and explore all the games you would like to download or purchase.
If you want to browse and go further down the page, it will show you more specific options like their most popular games, games based on your previous downloads, and the best new games that just came out.
The "Apps" option will take you to a page where you can explore different applications including but not limited to social media apps, educational and learning platforms, Artificial Intelligence apps, dating apps, streaming apps, fitness and health apps, and news apps.
The "Arcade" option will take you to a specialized series of gaming apps which for $6.99/month will be free of adds for more than 200 games.
Finally, the "Search" page will take you directly to a search bar where you can type in the name of an app you already know about and that you may like to download.
When you download an app you will need to enter your Apple ID if your Touch or Face ID isn't already automatically set up.
