The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking Blind or low vision participants to test new pedestrian detectable devices.
What: ODOT is developing new alternative detectable devices along sidewalks and at intersections.
Who: We are seeking persons from the blind and low vision communities with diverse abilities that would like to test new potential products and provide feedback.
When: Spring 2025, (April or May).
Time: 4-8 hours.
Where: 885 Airport Road SE, Salem, OR near the Intersection of Airport Road SE and State Street.
You may be eligible for the Equitable Engagement Compensation Program and transportation.
