About Us: The Canadian National Brain Bee is a neuroscience competition for high school students, grades 9 through 12. Students study brain and neuroscience research topics including memory, sleep, intelligence, emotion, perception, stress, aging, brain imaging, neurology, neurotransmitters, genetics, brain disease, and more. Students must first compete in a regional brain bee competition in Canada. The winners of each official regional brain bee will advance to the Canadian National level of competition and the champion will advance to the International Brain Bee. There are no costs to participate in the competitions. Some of the local brain bees near us are held at universities like McMaster, Waterloo, and UFT. Meetings will include extremely fun activities, discussions, and games!!

About Us: Drama club is an amazing experience and an inclusive place, where anyone can go to have fun with their friends. Drama Club holds many different events throughout the year that anyone can attend. These events include :

• Drama Club, where we play acting/improv games- similar to Charades.

• Improv Club, which is an extension of Drama Club focused on Improv.

• The Musical, which is run by the Woodlands teachers, past musicals include: Beauty and the Beast, The Addams Family, and In the Heights.

• Haunted House: Where we design a set and act out a spooky scenario for students to enjoy around Halloween.

• NTS (National Theatre School Dramafest), where students write and direct their own plays- with teachers choosing the best to go on to compete against other schools.

• Festivus, which is essentially a Christmas party held after school to celebrate the Festive spirit.

• Open Mics, Karaoke and sing alongs!

• Mayhem week, which is a series of events that we plan and run, with carnation sales being a recurring event.

• Melodrama, a student market where students can create and sell their own creations to their fellow students.
