About Us: The Canadian National Brain Bee is a neuroscience competition for high school students, grades 9 through 12. Students study brain and neuroscience research topics including memory, sleep, intelligence, emotion, perception, stress, aging, brain imaging, neurology, neurotransmitters, genetics, brain disease, and more. Students must first compete in a regional brain bee competition in Canada. The winners of each official regional brain bee will advance to the Canadian National level of competition and the champion will advance to the International Brain Bee. There are no costs to participate in the competitions. Some of the local brain bees near us are held at universities like McMaster, Waterloo, and UFT. Meetings will include extremely fun activities, discussions, and games!!

General Info:
- Weekly "drop-in" sessions in gym AB where you can bring your friends and play table tennis (after school from 3-430pm, day will be CONFIRMED SOON)
- nets, tables and balls will be provided although will need to be shared depending on the number of players
- extra paddles will be available if needed, however, try your best to bring your own
- students of ALL skill levels can play (we will guide you if you are new to the sport)
- attendance is not strict whatsoever
How the Sessions will Run:
- all members will assist with setup at the start of the session
- most weeks will consist of general play (singles, doubles, mixed... depending on the number of tables and players)
- after the starting few sessions, our former team players will provide general lessons regarding technique, skills, rotation... for table tennis
- we are hoping to run tournaments / ladder / ranking systems as well!!
