Student/family completes the School Transfer Form with parent/guardian signature.

PDSB announces first virtual learning environment for secondary students, launching in Sept. 2022
In our commitment to those who thrive in virtual learning environments, the Peel District School Board has launched its first virtual secondary school for students in grades 9 to 12. Through the Peel Virtual Secondary School (PVSS), PDSB educators and staff will offer and facilitate innovative, collaborative, and inclusive learning experiences that will focus on the development of global competencies and skills relevant to the world students are living in today and preparing for tomorrow.
PVSS is for students who thrive in the virtual learning environment and wish to develop digital literacy and other important transferable skills that will help them to succeed in a digital and ever-changing world.
Unlike remote learning, which occurs when classes are taught at a distance and takes place in times of extended interruptions such as during the pandemic, PVSS will feature a universal and inclusive design approach for the benefit of all modern learners preparing them for the digital promise of the future.
PVSS will be developed in phases, with phase 1 launching in Sept. 2022, offering basic course selections that provide pathways to graduation. Additional courses will continue to be offered over time. Information regarding course selection for students who wish to register at PVSS has been shared with elementary and secondary school administrators and guidance counsellors.
Course selection for all students looking to enroll into PVSS will occur in myBlueprint. Registration is currently open until Friday, March 4, 2022.
