-Encourage the use of closed captioning on Google Meet or MS Teams (student must turn this feature on)
-Encourage all students to type questions in chat feature online Google Meet or MS TEAMS and read them out for the class
-Ensure synchronous lessons have good quality auditory access and use the webcam, so the speaker's face is visible while talking
-Record lessons and share with the student so they have the opportunity to review the lesson at a slower pace or go over concepts often
-For synchronous learning, ensure that your teaching area is well-lit, with a solid background free of clutter, and that you face the camera so that your student has a clear view of your face to allow them to see facial expressions and use lip reading
-Choose a quiet place which allows for clear audio of the content you are presenting
-Periodically check-in with student to ensure they understand the assigned task
-Offer written instructions or a checklist to follow
