Photo Subscriptions And Patch Archive

Patch editors can request images from either AP or Shutterstock, as well access a Patch-built and maintained photo archive called WebDAM.

Patch's photo subscriptions give editors access (via their manager or photo desk) to creative and editorial images through Shutterstock and AP Newsroom.

Every photo must have a caption and credit. Credit styles are provided here.

- Mix of editorial/stock -- it will say in rights usage
- Remember: logos, people, landmarks will normally always be editorial use
- Email photos/captions to david.allen@patch.com to contribute to archive
Search Patch Owned Stock Images
- ALL MEDIA DIGITAL USE
- Previously downloaded Shutterstock creative stock images

SEARCH & DOWNLOAD

Login here and type your search term at the top left.
- You must search from the homepage to get results from across all three folders.

Select the image you want to download; click the blue DOWNLOAD button.

A box will appear with the file already preset to download at web resolution.
- NOTE: If you care to crop anything out, change the preset to ‘web res crop’ in the dropdown scroll.
- REMEMBER: Your crop selection will be locked in place to Patch’s image aspect ratio.
When satisfied, click on the SUBMIT button and the file will appear in the downloads folder of your computer shortly.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

GoFundMe: We may only use the lead photo of a fundraiser AFTER contacting the person who created the GoFundMe and verifying ownership of the photo in writing.
