Welcome to our Family Support page! I’m Mrs. Chapman, your Family Liaison Officer (FLO), and I am delighted to have this dedicated space to connect with you all.
We know that life doesn't always stop at the school gates. Sometimes, we all need a little extra navigation through the ups and downs of family life—whether that’s managing tricky behaviours, navigating financial hurdles, or simply looking for ways to boost your well-being.
I’ll be using this page to share:
Community Connections: Direct links and flyers for fantastic outside agencies, local charities, and support groups.
Early Help: Information on how we can work together to get your family the right support at the right time.
Local Events: Workshops and coffee mornings happening both in the academy and across our community.
A Quick Reminder: My door is always open. If you’re ever feeling overwhelmed or just need a confidential chat, please don't hesitate to reach out to me via the school office email or catch me on the playground.
I hope you find these resources helpful. We’re not just a school; we’re a community, and we’re here to support one another every step of the way.

Young Carers Action Day 2026 took place on Wednesday 11th March.
The theme for Young Carers Action Day 2026 is 'Fair Futures for Young Carers', a call to ensure every young carer has the same chances to learn, grow and thrive as their peers.
Lead by Carers Trust, together we will highlight the support young carers need to reach their potential, from recognition in school and access to training and employment, to meaningful breaks, wellbeing support and opportunities that help them build brighter futures.
We highlighted this event by asking our KFC club ‘what they would like to be/do when they get older?’. We had an amazing range of responses including vets, footballers, actors and fashion designers. Their designs were sent to Imago who used them for their social media campaign. #fairfutureforyoungcarers

We support children and young people aged four to nineteen. We can help with a range of issues young people might face including:
day and night-time wetting and soiling
puberty and growing up.
You can find lots of helpful information to support your child's development, and keep them healthy and safe in our Kent Child and Kent Teen sections.
You can contact the Kent School Health Service at any time - we really want to hear from you if you feel you need more support for you and your child and can offer one-to-one support if needed for healthy weight, emotional health, toileting, parenting and behaviour.
Parents/carers can complete an online referral form. You will receive a confirmation email that your referral has been submitted. If you don't get an email within a few minutes, check your junk folder in case it has gone there or call 0300 123 5205 and select option two to speak to a member of the team.
